Getting Charged!

It’s another day of learning more about my motorcycle as I install a Quick Disconnect Lead for my battery! This will allow me to easily plug my motorcycle battery into a battery tender, without needing to fuss with removing my seat or fairings to get to the battery! A super simple project for anyone!

This is the Quick Disconnect I got from Cycle Gear:

Quick Update!

Hey! Just a quick and dirty update today! That’s right, I just hopped off my bike and filmed this one, so I only had on “Mask Makeup” meaning I only put makeup on the part of my face you would see while I wear a mask! Hahaha 2020 continues to throw curve balls, but it’s good to find little moments to celebrate.

I had another delivery this week with Dames Do Care! If you’d like to watch my video about this wonderful Organization, you can do so here:

Back To Basics, Part 1

After being confronted with how uncomfortable I am on my motorcycle these days, I decided the best thing to do was to go back to basics! So that’s exactly what I’m doing! The basics! I pulled up the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Guide and started doing the very drills they have you do in their course. By breaking things down into simple areas of focus, it was amazing how quickly I felt not just improvement, but comfort and ease on my bike!

If you are interested in practicing these drill too, here is the PDF I reference in my video:

I talk about some of the things I did that kept me safe as well as what my biggest mistakes were around how it happened and how I handled it after! So let me know what you think in the comments. Also, if you’ve laid your bike down, I would love to hear about your experience, and what you did to get back on the bike again!

My First Track Day

If you’re new to riding, you may be wondering, what is a track day? Before I started riding, I had no idea track days even existed, or that you could race recreationally. I found out about it because of the friends I started riding with, who were all very into riding on the track as well as racing! So without giving too much away, please enjoy the story of my first track day:

I Started a Vlog!

Hi Everyone! While 2020 has definitely not been what anyone expected, I personally feel like there’s a lot of exciting things on the horizon and I’m really looking forward to what the future holds. With the weather getting nicer, it’s the perfect time to get out and ride. Plus Social Distancing is built right in, complete with helmets/masks! Haha So I’ve mentioned before how much this community has meant to me, so in an effort to become more involved, I’ve decided to start vlogging! What’s vlogging you might ask? Basically I’ve started a video blog, or diary, to share my motorcycle stories, education and adventures! This is a somewhat new format for me to be sharing in, but I think it will be fun and hopefully you will enjoy it too! So before this becomes too long winded, here’s my very first vlog:

My very first Vlog! I hope you like it!
